The main concentrate used in our mosquito systems is a natural, biodegradable insecticide that is made from the Chrysanthemum flower. This is a widely used insecticide and is highly effective in controlling a broad range of insects. However, unlike other types of harmful pesticides, it is safe for mammals and birds.
Mosquito Systems Blend With Landscape
Quite often, a good deal of our pleasure in any outdoor area comes from enjoying an attractive appearance. Our professionally installed mosquito systems will not detract from that. What kind of equipment will be installed and what will it look like?
- reservoir – holding tank for misting concentrate
- nylon tubing – method of delivering concentrate to nozzles
- nozzles – small (about the size of pinky finger), located approximately 8 to 10 feet apart along tubing
The largest part of the system is the reservoir, and this is usually placed next to existing outdoor equipment such as air conditioning units. The misting concentrate is delivered through nylon tubing and nozzles. Our nylon tubing is available in a variety of colors, and you can count on our experts to ensure that tubing and nozzles are installed as inconspicuously as possible in order to blend in with the surroundings.
The only other piece of equipment is the remote control, which allows you to program the system to operate automatically. You may also use the remote to turn the system on and off, or to trigger a special spray cycle if you experience a period of extremely high insect activity.
